This Privacy Policy explains how PlotDekhlo collects, uses, stores, shares and protects personal information when you use the PlotDekhlo mobile application and related services.

1. Information we collect

We may collect your name, mobile number, profile and cover photographs, optional email, About information, company or dealer information, office or service location, State and District, account identifiers and authentication records. We also process information you submit through property listings, Feed posts, requirements, saved properties, Watch Areas, My Pool requests, dealer ratings, reports, likes, shares, views, notifications and support communications.

For service operation and security, we may collect device tokens, app version, selected language, IP address and basic device, usage and diagnostic information.

2. Location information

With your permission, PlotDekhlo may use precise location to centre maps, show nearby properties and dealers, choose a property location, create requirements and Watch Areas, and provide matching alerts. Private profile or office coordinates are used internally and are not displayed to other users. A public dealer service area and a location submitted with a property listing may be visible to users. You can deny location permission and use available manual location options, although some nearby or map features may then be limited.

3. How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts; deliver OTPs; display listings and public profiles; operate Feed, Requirements, My Pool, dealer discovery, ratings, Trending Properties and Watch Areas; personalise results; calculate legitimate engagement; send service messages and alerts; prevent spam, fraud and unsafe activity; provide support; improve the service; enforce our Terms; and comply with applicable law.

4. Public information and user choices

Property listings, listing contact details, public dealer details, service areas, ratings and published Feed posts may be visible to other users. Requirements may be shared so interested users can contact the requester. My Pool member identities remain private unless a feature clearly states otherwise; permitted pool counts may be visible. Do not upload government identification numbers, financial information, private documents or another person's personal data without lawful authority.

5. Service providers and sharing

We may share limited information with providers supporting hosting, databases, OTP delivery, push notifications, maps, geocoding, file storage, analytics, moderation, security and customer support. External services such as telephone, WhatsApp, email, Google Maps and linked news sources are governed by their own policies. We do not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed where required by applicable law, a valid legal process, safety requirements, fraud prevention or protection of legal rights.

6. Property Market News

Property Market News may display short summaries and links from publicly available, authorised, government, RSS or other permitted sources. Third-party publishers retain ownership of their content, and their websites have separate privacy practices.

7. Retention and deletion

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, maintain security, meet backup cycles and comply with legal obligations. Users can request account deletion through the in-app Delete Account feature. Following deletion, information is deleted or anonymised, subject to applicable legal retention, unresolved complaints, security requirements and backup cycles.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards, including authenticated access and restricted handling of private location data. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. You must protect your OTP, device and account access and promptly report suspected misuse.

9. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable Indian law, you may request correction or completion of inaccurate personal information, account deletion, withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent, and grievance resolution. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully completed and may disable features that require the information. We may verify your identity before completing a request.

10. Children

PlotDekhlo is intended for persons aged 18 years or older. We do not knowingly provide accounts to children. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information.

11. Applicable law and policy updates

This Policy is intended to operate consistently with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and rules in force under it, the Information Technology Act, 2000, applicable IT Rules and lawful directions. We may update this Policy as the service or applicable law changes. The latest revision date will remain visible on this page.
